Sumner Property Revaluation Completed
The revaluation of all properties in the Town of Sumner has been completed for 2025.
Below is the Official Notice you will receive by mail regarding your new property assessment, as required by law.

This updated value represents an estimate of your property’s full (100%) market value as of January 1, 2025.
Please note: It is not yet possible to determine what impact, if any, these new assessments will have on your 2025 property tax bill. Final tax rates will be determined later this year during the budget process for the Schools, State, County, and Town.
Curve Reconstruction at STH 106 at the intersection of Loga Road
Upcoming Public Meeting – STH 106 & Loga Road Curve Reconstruction
The Wisconsin Department of Transportation is in the early planning stages of a project to reconstruct and realign the curve on STH 106 at the Loga Road intersection in the Town of Sumner.
We’re inviting local residents, property owners, and community members to join us for a Public Involvement Meeting to learn more about the project concepts and share feedback.

Meeting is set for August 19th at 5:30 p.m. at the Town Hall. Please join us!

Budget Hearing
NOTICE of PUBLIC HEARING and BUDGET SUMMARY for the TOWN of Sumner Notice is hereby given that the Town of Sumner, Jefferson County, Wisconsin will hold a public hearing on the town's proposed 2025 budget on THURSDAY NOVEMBER 21, 2024, at 6:00 PM, at the Sumner Town Hall, N1525 Church Street, Edgerton, WI 53534.
Immediately following the public hearing, a Special Town Elector Meeting will be held to approve the 2024 total town tax levy to be collected in 2025. The proposed budget in detail is available at the clerk's office by appointment.
